I use the Brunton butane can stand to stabilize my butane stove. I do a lot of ATV camping and use a 1 qt Pinnacle Soloist (by GSI) cook pot on top of a butane mounted burner. The can stand adds an additional measure of stability, and since I've started using it, I haven't dumped the pot once. My one complaint is that the legs don't lock into position. That would be nice, but I expect the added complexity would make it too costly. Pros: Light, compact, simple design Cons: Legs don't lock into postion

This stand doesn't look as if it is up to HARD use or abuse, but the light weight compensates well, and it may fool me later. It's very simple but perfect for the task of supporting the excellent Brunton stoves during use. The Can Stand folds and travels in the stove pouch without any problem. I can't imagine taking my stove camping without it!! Pros: small size; light weight; easy to use. Cons: None noted after one use.
